Instead of creating multiple sales orders for repeated purchases, you create one Blanket Sales Order that covers the full agreement. Later, you release smaller sales orders from it until the entire deal is completed.

- On the four tabs, you enter information like:
- General details -> customer name, address, document number, and date
- Sell-to and bill-to details
- Shipment details and currency
Most of this information is automatically copied from the customer card when you select the customer.
- On the lines section, you enter the items being sold (for example, the product, quantity, and price).
- Once all details are filled in, you can convert the Blanket Sales Order into a regular Sales Order whenever you are ready to ship part of the order.
