Security Model :: Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Security model used specify how they synchronize the Dynamics NAV security system with the SQL Server security system and Windows security system.
Security model divided into 2 types 

  1. Standard
  2. Enhanced
These specifications are mentioned in the Alter Form. This option available in the File -> Database -> Alter

The difference between Standard and Enhanced Model are as follows
Difference between Standard and Enhanced Security
To make changes to the Security model from Enhanced to Standard or reverse, we will have to alter the database, change the Security Model option (Advanced tab). We need to make sure that the database is made as “single user only” (by checking on the Single User check mark on the Alter Database window). It is also required to synchronize all logins after the Security Model is changed.
